How do you know where to shift?

Simply put, I don't know that too! There are many strategies as based on the numerous possibilities. Let me answer the question as to what to do when you have no pole to guide the claw.

The prize is huge and it is not set on 2 poles but on a flat surface. Additionally, there is no plastic wrapping around it. Given the size of the plush, the stuffing it has could be really heavy making it harder to move around. This UFO catcher also requires a shifting action to bring the prize towards the chute.

How do you shift it this time?

There should be a place for you to hook the claw on, for example, behind the head, in between the shoulder, an opening the that joins the hands to the body, etc. In this case, the claw can be hooked behind the shoulder as shown in the screenshot below. 

When positioned at the right spot, the claw will be able to see that the prize is being hooked into and has a higher chance of shifting. 

AND... that's how i won the plushy by shifting it slowly to the chute. It is not as easy as it looks. There were times where i thought that there is really no place to hook it to move the prize and even worse the claw may shift the prize back into the previous position. 

Wait! What if there is something blocking the prize from entering the chute, how do we make it shift enough to overcome the hurdle?

How? Hmm... Good question. I will discuss this in future posts when I get the chance to explain it. (^o^)/ 

So how many tries and how much spent?

I took about 25 tries to shift the front of  the prize to the one you see in the video and total amount spent was around S$67.50. This is the maximum amount that I will ever be willing to get a plush at.
Yet, after receiving it all wrapped up nicely in a box, the time, money and effort put in was 100% worth it. It was first known as the Vulgar Bear as a  Creator Line Character and I loved it!
