Arcade Fun Time! Getting a Mega Bonus Win!

1st Outdoor Video Experience!

I'll be making this post into "a little" diary entry so it will be a little longer than usual. This will be easier for me to express everything!

Arcade Fun Time!

This was actually my first recorded video for arcade games and it was an experience where I got helped by my best friend and boyfriend for recordings. I wanted to show everyone what it is like over at the East Side of Singapore. There are currently 2 branches for CowPlayCowMoo (CPCM), one at Pasir Ris and the other at Suntec City. The more commonly video-ed arcade is Suntec City due to its centralized position and is tourist populated. Not that there are no videos on the CPCM at Pasir Ris but its slightly lesser. 

So what is the difference?

As of now, CPCM at Pasir Ris occupies a smaller space which limits the variation of games it could have as compared to the one at Suntec City. The number of people who visits there tends to be higher obviously on the weekends and also public holidays and this makes the place a bit too crowded. The CPCM at Pasir Ris has 2 sections on the same floor, however the CPCM at Suntec City also has 2 sections but on 2 floors, separated from each other. 

Making the video

I started recording of the place at around 4pm on a weekday when it was not crowded. Initially, I wanted to make the video as a challenge between my friend and I but she rather not be on camera. Hence, I made it into a challenge to myself. Truth to say, I watched many YouTube videos on how to play these games but watching it isn't the same as playing it yourself!

I made a challenge based on 4 games and it was like " Ah! This looks fun~ Let's Do It!". It was all based on pure luck and there was not script, just an normal day at the arcade. My best friend helped me out with recording while my boyfriend helped to manage my spending and advises me on where I should grab the tickets. Super glad that they are with me that day! I am really too shy to start anything if its not for their help and time to join me for the arcade trip.

OK! So, what games did I play?

Zombie Snatcher

• 3 tokens for 1 play
• Rule is to aim for the putts and push them to the pit for counting.
• Best to aim for high numbers like 50, 100, 500 or Alphabets which is 200 tickets for one.
• Get all the Alphabets to light up to get the Jackpot!

This was obviously a game I'm bad in. It requires the right timing and the right spot to push the ones you want down. But it was really fun!

(not sure what the game is called)<- will get back to this the next time I go to the arcade!

• 1 token for 1 play 
• Involves rolling of the token to the Jackpot

My best friend played the front 3 tokens and I played another 3 tokens. It also requires timing and precision. 

Tubin Twist

• 3 tokens for 1 play
• Release the ball at the top and let it fall down
• Aim for the Bonus or Mega Bonus by stopping the tube at the bottom

*I suddenly have a thought... what will happen if we stop the tube and the ball gets stuck there?*

Anyways! This was my first try at the game and it was so surprising that I won the Mega Bonus! I thought the angle was a little wrong and would go more towards the right side. Haha! Now, I am addicted to this game! It's reset bonus is 500 tickets and its still pretty worth it if you can get it all!

Scoop-up?

• 3 tokens for 1 play
• Scoop up loose tickets, ticket roll or ball
• Rule: Only able to retrieve tickets after 200 tickets are accumulated in the basket

Probably the only game that I always play but not with tickets. The usual one I have seen was filled with sweets. There is another one filled with toys but I'm not interested with the prizes in it. It was fun when you try to get a ball or ticket roll and it gets stuck or falls in a way you least expect it. I used up my tokens here but the rewards are worth it when you see the 1,000 ticket roll at the edge or the counter for the bonus is near to either of the bonuses or jackpot.

Will you try other games next time?

Yes! Definitely will! I actually am pretty interested in games Sponge Bob or the Minions card drop. Also, I know its a bit of the classical phone games but cookie master is a game where you can rake in a decent amount of tickets even when you don't get jackpot.
